	In response to an increasingly globalized market, designers have an increasing desire to work hand in hand with members of indigenous communities to dig into their archives to design products. New online marketplaces are being established, enabling artisans to sell directly to customers world- wide. The goal now is to have a more authentic and diverse offering for furnishing global homes, honouring traditional craftsmanship instead of imitating it.

	This theme’s influences result in a hot and spicy palette of pumpkin, pepper and honey with aqua to cool down together with the traditonal, colourless black &#38;amp; white combination.

	A celebration of crafted and decorative pattern,from tribal and folkloric to geometric and abstract. Combining jacquard, fringing, Heavy duty cotton, embroidery and beading.
Imperfect surfaces that enhance the craftmanship made of hard materials such as wax treated steel, brass, cast iron and rusted metals. Volcanic stone or glazed ceramics appear together with bamboo, raffia, cane or any other exotic woods.
